What your score could mean:

Scoring between 35 – 32 points:  Great!  Keep up the good work!  You feel happy and satisfied in your life and your choices.  You’re doing the things you hoped to do and you’re around people who add to your feelings of joy and authenticity in the world.  But don’t sit back on your laurels!  A good, satisfying life requires work and effort.  Be sure to keep challenging yourself with these questions on a regular basis to make sure that everything is going the right way!

Scoring between 31 and 28 points:  Mmmhh…what’s not working for you?  Although you’ve got a lot of great things going on there are some things that might not fit.  Take a look carefully at your important relationships, your job and your home.  What could need changing?  If there is a particular question from the quiz that got a particularly low score, that could be your answer but if there is a general feeling of uncertainty, it’s time to assess things more carefully.  But don’t let this worry you!  Overall things are good.  It’s always a great idea to assess your life course and make changes when necessary.

Scoring between 27 and 21 points:  You are doubting yourself and your choices.  What isn’t fitting?  Reading How Everything Changed could help here.  Although it’s not a substitute for therapy, it can be a useful tool.  Consider what it is that feels inauthentic to you.  Can you make changes?  The important thing is to listen to yourself in an active and open way and to be willing to hear the answers that come to you.  We can’t always make changes immediately but even small changes can mean a lot.  For example, if you feel that your relationship isn’t working for you, it’s time to talk lovingly with your partner.  By starting a dialogue without recriminations you can move forward and begin to feel more present in your life.

Scoring between 20 and 14 points:  Things aren’t as they should be.  You sound dissatisfied and perhaps unhappy as well.  If particular areas of your life aren’t working for you it is time to assess how you can change things.  Making big changes isn’t always necessary since even small changes can be beneficial but your low score suggests that it is definitely time to figure out what’s not fitting.   Read How Everything Changed to see how important it is to listen actively to yourself and to allow yourself to hear your own best answers.   Be sure to talk with trusted friends as you go through the process of making your life more authentic and consider therapy too as a way to get some of your issues clarified.

Scoring below 14 points:  It’s time to make changes!  Read How Everything Changed and use it as an example of how asking these questions and actively listening to the answers you give yourself can make your life much more authentic, powerful and joyful!  Don’t give up and don’t be down hearted!  You can do it!  The first step is to allow yourself to listen to your own voice and then, get to work!  Good luck!
